The publication, result of a long field research carried out by the architect / photographer Mauro Filippi, the semiologist Marco Mondino and the sociologist Luisa Tuttolomondo, thanks also to the support of PUSH, treats in a complete and exhaustive way the theme of urban creativity in Sicily. Street Art in Sicily is a guide that maps over 30 cities and shows, with more than 300 photos, the work of over 200 artists from all over the world, together with the activity of many associations and local organizations promoting independent festivals and artistic performances which animate different urban scenarios of the island.
Through 256 pages with photos, maps, descriptions and monographs, Street Art in Sicilia traces a complete overview of the urban art made in recent years in Sicily, from the main coastal cities to the most remote inland locations.
Edited by Flaccovio Editore in a 14×20 pocket size, it will be distributed in Italy from May 18th 2017.
